Join Anna as we spend 5 class sessions working through various types of printmaking. Over the course of five weeks, participants will experience: linoleum carving, screen printing, botanical printing, fabric printing, and gel printing. This series is for beginners to advanced and all ages are welcome (under 12 requires adult participation at no additional expense).

As we enter a new year and we all have our New Year’s resolutions forming, why not let one of your resolutions be “Make More Things!?”

What all is included?

Linoleum carving (January 13, 12:00-2:30)

· (1) 4x6 .25” linoleum block to keep

· (1) brayer to keep

· Use of (1) carving tool

· Use of multiple printing inks

Botanical printing (January 20, 12:00-2:30)

· Use of multiple fabric inks

· Wide selection of botanical items for printing

· Tea towels to print onto (or bring your own item)

Fabric printing (January 27, 12:00-2:30)

· (1) Tote bag (or bring your own item)

· Use of existing stamps (or you can use your lino carving from the first week!)

· Use of multiple fabric inks

Gel printing (February 3, 12:00-2:30)

· Use of multiple acrylic paints

· Use of gel plate

· Use of (1) brayer

· Various types of paper for printing

Screen printing (February 10, 12:00-2:30)

· Shirt (or bring your own item)

· One ink color

· Choice of 3 images – to be discussed in the weeks ahead of the workshop
